1.) "Miscarriage in first time pregnancies is totally normal, you'll get it the second time around."

Gee, thanks... It only took us a year and a half to get PG... And then lost our LO, but yes, you're right, we should view it as "normal".

2.) "You're young, you have plenty of time to have a baby."

Wow, once again, yes I'm only 21, soon to be 22... But when it takes over a year to get PG and then you have a MC, time doesn't seem to be on your side...

Sometimes, I ownder why people think these things are helpful to hear... Cause they really aren't. They just frustrate me more... Especially when I see what seems like everyone around me, either pregnant or with a new baby... And people who don't even want a baby, having babies... It's infuriating...

Another favorite is, "Stop trying, it'll happen when it's meant to happen.".... Sometimes I wonder if people understand infertility/fertilit and conception at all. I can't have sex the day after my period ends and get pregnant! Ugh...

Sorry for the rant everyone. I've just been really irritated by people lately... We're in the 2WW right now, but I'm not sure we'll get our BFP this month, I ovulated late on day 18 and it worries me that it may not give me a long enough time before AF is suppose to *not* be here... And lastnight DH and I were at a party with people he works with. The hosts wife is 35 weeks pregnant and everyone thought it was a good idea to talk about pregnancy and babies with me sitting right there... As if her being pregnant wasn't evnough to drive me crazy...

Wow, I'm rambling.... Sorry!

    Sorry you're upset. I also hate the "in God's time/quit trying" comments. And actually, some people don't get it! My friend, who has 1 child already, didn't know that you have to time sex according to when you ovulate. UGH!  Hugs

    Ugh, I hate when people make comments like that. Maybe they mean well, but it's just plain hurtful. I'm so sorry that those things were said to you and that last night was especially painful. Sometimes I think people just don't realize what they're saying. 

    I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you get your BFP this cycle, though! ((hugs))
