Violet- I like this, but we have a toy named "My Pal Violet", so that's what I always think of when I hear it.
Liliana- I prefer Lillian or Lily.

Callie- Not a fan. I like Calista, though.
Sophie (French form of Sophia) - Like, but a little too popular for me to actually use.
Sophia- Like- same as Sophie.

Iris: always sounds like an old lady name to me. And yes I understand that at one time the old lady had to be a young girl.
