Fabric softener bar? Take it out?

I have a bounce dryer bar in my dryer. I'm wondering if I need to take it out once I start using the diapers since I'm noticing the packaging on so many of them say not to use fabric softeners? What do you think?

(No I haven't prepped my diapers yet.. I'm way behind in the game)

    YES! It needs to come out asap, and several loads run through your dryer to get the residue out.

    This exactly. 

    You could try dryer balls as a more CD friendly option in the dryer instead.

    take the bar out and clean out your dryer with a vinegar solution to remove the residue.

    Funny thing, I forgot that I had one until recently. I have been CD'ing for almost 3 months now and have had NO problems... I know if will void any kind of warranty my dipes have but since I am not have issues I am not that worried. Just sayin if you leave it in you might not even notice :)

    I haven't done CD laundry yet (FTM) but I did have a dryer bar that I got as a free sample. When it ran out, I took out the actual bar but left the holder. I've heard the adhesive is a PITA to remove, so I decided to try leaving that part in. I haven't had any issues with my regular laundry.
