Lurker with a ?

Hi  I am a lurker on this board and had a question that maybe y'all could help me with.

I have a moby and a front facing baby carrier (maybe evenflo?) I tried on the ergo and I just didn't find it comfortable. I am looking at the beco gemini, I like the idea of being able to carry him all different ways. Does anyone have it? recommend it? Hate it? How is it on your back?

No where around here sells it, so I have to order it online.

TIA

From what I know the Beco is very similar to the Ergo (I have an Ergo)

An Ergo can be worn front, back and side you know, right?

ETA: DS is too little to be worn on my back yet but DD is 31 lbs and so comfortable on my back (for her and for me) in the Ergo. She loves it

  • We have the Gemini and I love it.  I like that it does not look as bulky as the Ergo, but it is padded and DD seems very comfy and happy.  She is only 5 months, so when we are out and about we use the front carry, but in the house I do use the back carry for when I am cooking or doing other chores and DD needs to be with me.  I haven't tried the side carry because I don't think it would be comfortable for her yet, and we use the front-facing out carry just for a few minutes at a time if she seems really curious about looking around.

I had a Hotsling, a Snugli, and the Boba wrap before this, and this is definitely my favorite carrier ever!
