Hello Ladies,
I've been lurking this past week and now that my HCG is down to 5 (argh....so close!) I wanted to introduce myself, even though we're stuck TTA for a few cycles.
You'll find my story in my sig, bio, and blog - I swear this isn't a shameless blog promo, I'm used to having no readers! I'm a pretty open book, maybe too much so. Short story is PCOS made me infertile and fat, my first BFP ended in an ectopic at 7 weeks, but I had just gotten a great FS who took wonderful care of me and I'm convinced it's because of her I avoided a ruptured tube.
I'm 29, a social worker in addictions on stress leave the past six months, Canadian. I've been with DH nine years and best friends since age 12. Three dogs and one cat....too many fur balls to count. And we just bought our first house and we move mid-June. I'm really hoping it will be a good distraction for me from this hell....I haven't taken this loss well (can anyone really?).
Anyway, I have lots of questions because once my HCG is 0 I want to start some supplements etc that I haven't tried before. Our doctor encouraged us to try a few times (once medically cleared) without Clomid and we feel the same. Would rather avoid it if we can....though not willing to give it another two years either!
Sorry, I ramble. But looking forward to getting to know all of you as I transition over here from the m/c and loss board.
- Michelle

***PGAL/PAL WELCOME***
I'm so sorry for your loss.
I also had an ectopic, back in November and fortunately was able to avoid rupturing a tube as well. There are many ladies here currently TTA as well as other pursuing IF treatments. Check out the TTCAL (in my siggy, large purple link) for additional information about the board. Welcome
Welcome ((hugs)).
Oh wow....thank you everyone for the welcome!
Yeah DH and I "dated" about four times in high school, but he kept getting freaked out and dumping me. After I said that was it and moved away for college....he followed me within a year once he grew up a bit
I'm following the TTCAL blog and trying to get familiar with the board....will hold my questions until I check for answers there!
