When I'm charting, I don't sleep well. I usually wake up a lot before my alarm goes off (and sometimes can't go back to sleep), so I haven't been able to take my temperature at the same time. For example, my alarm normally goes off at 6:35. This morning I woke up at 5:10 and starting thinking about whether I should temp or not. Since that started to wake me up even more, I decided that I should temp because I might not be able to fall back asleep. Other temps for this cycle were taken at 5:45, 6:15, and 6:20, I think.
My question is, do you use a BBT adjuster website? Or just put it into FF as is and let FF adjust it during its calculations? All those open circles bother me. I used a BBT adjuster during my BFP cycle, but FF was also acting confused that month--it kept changing around my CHs.
Re: Charting question
This happened to me really bad the last cycle I charted. Fortunately this cycle isn't so bad. The anxiety of temping sucks big time!
I'm not an expert, but FWIW, I would temp as soon as I woke up, no matter what time it was, and then I would enter it into FF. Sometimes FF would give me open circles and sometimes it wouldn't. I would only mark sleep deprived if I really didn't sleep well at all. Most of the time, I would still get adequate sleep, but would still wake up before my alarm. Even with all of that, FF still gave me CH's and I actually got a BFP that cycle (which sadly ended in a c/p a week or so later).
Once I realized that it doesn't have to be perfect, my anxiety levels about charting dropped quite a bit.
I sleep like sh!t, too--and I don't even worry about trying to take my temp at the same time every day. I take it the first time I wake up in the night and realize I've been sleeping for at least 3 hours. My temps may be a little more sporadic than most, but I'm still able to see when I O'ed. (Don't look at my current cycle for proof. It's my totally insane first post-m/c cycle.)
Don't use an adjuster website. FF is smart; it'll know what to do.
Do you have a link? It depends how varied your temps really are I think.
I would suggest two things. maybe keep a second chart that's adjusted - it might offer a clearer picture. Or 2. try vaginally temping. I've notice there's less variation from different waking times with my vaginal temps than my oral temps.
Ultimately, as long as you can still see a clear thermal shift, it's not a big deal if you know your rocky temps are cause by by temping style

Here is a link to my chart, although when I click on it, it isn't showing yesterday's or today's temps for some reason ... hmm.

I might try this. Maybe if I'm not worried about temping anymore, then I'll be able to fall back asleep afterward.

all your other charts show a clear thermal shift, so i wouldn't worry too much right now. You don't have that many temps recorded - better to have wacky temps in than no temps. DC2London has a great suggestion
I will also say, after a loss, you temps can be all over the charts because your hormones are. it might just take a few cycles for your hormones to regulate

This used to happen to me, so I started setting my alarm for the time that I was most consistently stirring early at (for me, 4:30-alarm is set for 5)
I never used an adjuster, I just marked the time and "sleep deprived"
