Formula similar to Similac Sensitive

So we've been using Sim Sensitive for LO basically from birth after realizing reg Sim wasn't good for his gas problems. He's been great & he's been having 3 solid meals a day plus his bottles. I just saw on sale @ Target the Up & Up. Does anyone know if this is similar to Similac & are you happy with it. Does it come in a Gas Sensitive formula? It seems a little less expensive.  And we use powder.

Re: Formula similar to Similac Sensitive

  • The Target Up & Up brand is pretty similar, and they do have a sensitive.  The nurse at our pedi office uses it and loves it.  I was going to make the switch after reading pretty positive reviews on-line but DD had to go to Sim Sensitive for Spit-up and (as far as I know) Up & Up doesn't have.  :)

You could always buy a small container and give it a try.

  • I switched to the Parent's Choice at Walmart version of Similac Sensitive. DS has been fine on it. A big can of it costs about what a small can of the Similac costs.

We use the Target Up and Up called Sensitivity in the orange can which is comparable to Similac Sensitive orange (it's a lactose sensitive formula for fusiness and gas). We have used it for 4.5 months now and we love it. It is almost half the price of Similac. We buy the extra-large cans in the store which are 40oz for $19.99 comparied to the Similac which is something like $24 for 23oz. LO has been happy on it and we've had no issues.

    Edited to correct formula name

We use this too. It seems the same and the cost is so much better.
