I already refused it once but am now wondering if I should get it. Of course the CDC says it's safe for pregnancy (but I feel like that's kind of their job to say that). I just don't want to do anything to jeopardize the pregnancy in any way... Thoughts?
Re: Tdap in pregnancy?
I would also wait for third tri. Whooping cough isn't a risk to your pregnancy, it's a risk to your newborn. There's a lot less going on developmentally in third tri compared to first or second. It's probably not an issue, but I don't see a great benefit to doing it right now.
I got mine in the hospital after delivering because that's how they do it here. DH went and got his a few months before that, as did his parents.

My MW recommended against it. I"m not in a high risk environment (my son isn't in school, I'm not around a lot of children, etc.) and my son is vaccinated against it.
To each their own but there have been tons of medications administered in pregnancy throughout the years that caused severe issues later on. I don't take chances.
Actually, the vaccine is not a risk for your pregnancy or your newborn. The reason they recommend giving the vaccine in the third trimester is that there is strong evidence that the mother's immunity is passed to the baby, and so has some measure of immunity from whooping cough right from birth, instead of waiting until the first vaccine at 2 months. By immunizing the mother in the third trimester, it actually protects the baby earlier!
Ditto PP's by suggesting that everyone who will care for your newborn also get the vaccine (at any time before the baby's birth), if you would rather wait until after delivery.
