I didn't get any..but my mom does/told me once about a sugar and lime scrub. I don't know if it actually works, but I would think the lime would make your face feel refreshed and the sugar works as an exfoliant. Let me know if you try it and if it works!

The mask is hormonal, so the only way to truly get rid of it is to change your hormones. Plus, it's deep, so you have to get through a lot of layers to get rid of it. If you're BFing, hormone change means you have to wait until you stop. BTW, this type of mask is also a common side effect of BCP, so if you're taking any, they're likely not helping the situation. I got one after taking Yasmin, but didn't get one with pregnancy. After Yasmin, I used a skin lightener (Mary Kay's Even Complexion Essence is what worked for me) to take away the mask. It took a couple of months to completely get rid of it, but I saw improvement in about two weeks.
The mixture listed above might work, but it might not. Lime juice (and lemon juice) can lighten things, but they may also not be strong enough. However, the sugar scrub will probably improve the texture and overall look of your skin, just like any good exfoliation will. I'd try it, but be gentle when you scrub so you don't break capillaries.
