Anyone create a private family web site?

Instead of e-mailing and texting pics to friends and family, I thought it'd be a lot easier to have our own site I can blog and update; as well as post pics, etc so family and friends can log in and see...any suggestions?

We are doing that too.  We use Blogger through Google.  It's been kind of a pain to get people to send us their email addresses so they can get invites, but everyone who has gotten on it loves it!  We really wanted to avoid Facebook and this was a good way to do that!

we also use blogger.  I love it b/c I can take a pic on my phone & email it directly to the blog to update.  It's so easy.  And, my family/friends LOVE it.  I'll PM you the link
