Provera Fail, Help Please!

Hi Ladies, as this is only my second post, I wanted to say I enjoy reading all the encouragement on the board.

So we m/c'd in late March, and I went to the doctor to see what was going on, and was prescribed Provera.  It has been the two week waiting period, still a negative pregnancy test.  I go in tomorrow morning for some more testing in the morning.

Has anyone had provera not work?  What was the outcome of other tests/prescriptions?  

I am just having a mini stress session over here as I really want answers and confused why provera did not work.

    I'm sorry for your loss in March. Provera has never worked for me so my only option was to take birth control for a month. Maybe you could try another dose of the Provera? I hope your doctor can figure out what's going on!

    FET = BFN - lost all remaining embryos
    IVF 2.0 - In progress. 20 retrieved. 16 mature. 10 fertilized with ICSI. 3, grade I embryos transferred, 7 made to freeze. Currently in the 2ww.

    This just happened to me.  Usually, Provera wonders well with me.  I finish the pills and the next day AF is here.  This last time.... it failed.  I had the bloating and light brown spotting here or there, but that was it. 

    The doctor sent me in for an ultrasound only to find a blockage stopping me from shedding my lining and a few polyps.  I ended up having to get a D&C last Tuesday to clear everything out.  Now, I just wait for AF (again).  He doesn't want me to do another provera cycle and he feels that the D&C "cleared" me out and I should go back to normal now.

    I have heard that some doctors will put you on birth control for a cycle or two to regulate things again.  I can't use BC, so I have to wait it out.

     Our baby boy,Logan, was born still at 19w3d on 7/1/2011
    Our 2nd baby boy, Mason, was born still at 20w3d on 1/31/2012

     After a much needed sanity break... we are praying for our rainbows

    Hi Ladies,

    Sorry I did not post earlier.  So on Thursday I went to the doctor to have more blood work done, since it had been more than 2 weeks of taking the last pill.  I  was so relieved no pregnant women were sitting in the office (melt down happened last time).  Came home, and Friday night while watching movies with my DH, AF came.  It has been one of those, knock you off your feet cycles.  Today I was lucky to have a cuddly 2 year old, who was more than happy to move her trains into our room and "watch" mommy as DH packed for work. 

    Thank you for sharing as I was wondering if birth control was the next step, which I would have had to decline as well.  

    Our next steps are cycles of clomid, so I'm crossing my fingers.
