Almost got busted OPKing at work!

I have a sneaky system for OPKing at work. I use Wondfos, so those nice flat wrappers fit really well into a back pocket or tucked into a boot. And I've mastered the art of peeing into the actual wrapper (yes, I am a talented pee-er). The only somewhat sketchy part is sneaking the OPK itself back to my desk without anyone noticing.

Usually this isn't TOO big of a challenge. I just hold the stick nonchalantly and as discreetly as possible by my side and hope that no one is staring at my hand. Well, today, I was fumbling with the door back into our office (bathroom is in the hallway) and just about ran smack into a male coworker coming out of the door at the same time. You know when you're trying to be sneaky and you get all jumpy and guilty like? Yeah, that was me. And I SWEAR his eyes went straight to my hand.

Maybe I'm just paranoid, but this is also the same coworker I mentioned before who saw the fertility app on my phone. What's worse is that his wife is currently pg, so there's a very real possibility he knows all about OPKs...

I know to some people this wouldn't be a big deal, but I do NOT like to share this part of my life with my coworkers!!

This just made me laugh. Only because if your male coworker were to call you out, you could totally turn it around back on him. "Why are you such an expert on OPK's?"

Oh no! I remember your story from before about the fertility app, and about your peeing skills. Either he knows what your doing and completely understands because of what they've gone through, or he has no idea at all! I'll say this much, if it was my DH who caught you he would be very understanding, but keep his mouth shut. Trust me you have nothing to worry about, but I understand how awkward it can be! I had an OPK in my bra the other day and a patient stopped me to ask me a question on the way back from the bathroom. Wierd!

For what its worth, men are typically completely awkward about this stuff. So he would probably be very freaked out it would show on his facial expression if he knew. On the off chance he did recognize what it was, he probably won't talk about it. Ever. To anyone.

Also, if it makes you feel any better MH still has no idea what OPKs are and I have been using them for 6+ months. On a couple of occasions I have showed them to him. They are really just not that observant. Or at least mine isnt.

Sorry! I'm sure he didn't notice. If it makes you feel better I've got my own awkward story. I have the FF app on my phone and my DH and I share an app store account to avoid double paying for music and apps and stuff. Anyway, he was syncing his phone at work and updating his apps while getting breakfast and FF starts download to his phone. He said out loud "what's FF Mobile?" then "Ooh fertility friend!" he's unsure whether any of his coworkers at the breakfast table were paying attention or realized what he was taking about. I think it's totally embarrassing and hilarious at the same time...

So sorry, but I also had a little giggle at this.  My DH would've been soo flustered and embarresed he would've made a bigger @ss of himself than your nervousness!  I'm guessing he didn't even notice.

OHH and I bow down to you, pee Goddess!  I'm going to have to start practicing this!
