had a missed m/c at 14 weeks on 4/4...when should ive ovulated??

Anyone else experience a missed m/c at 14 weeks? At time I found out I was m/c baby measured only 8 weeks. So would you say this wasn't a normal m/c and will take longer to get my period? We have been ttc since the m/c and I'm so anxious to be pregnant.

It can take anywhere in the ballpark of 4-8 weeks for your period to come. Did your doctor recommend to wait a cycle after your m/c to heal before TTC?

There is no such thing as a 'normal MC'...

There is no known method to predict exactly how long it will take to get your period after a MC. If you have not gotten your period, how have you been cleared to TTC post MC already?

If I were you I would chat with my Dr. about this, and get some guidance on the subject. Good luck.

Did you have a D&C?  Has your OBGYN monitored your hCG levels back to 0?  If your hCG is not back to 0 you may not ovulate until it's down to or close to 0.  Visit the purple link in my siggy to read more 'newbie' information on the TTCAL blog, many have found it very helpful.

I had a D&C at 14 weeks after finding out the baby stopped growing at 7 weeks. I don't think I've ovulated yet and it's been 63 days. I'm going to see my OB GYN because this is longer than normal.

I'm assuming you had a D&C? Do you chart? I would suggest you start to help you know what's going on. You can click on the ticker in my siggy and it will bring you to fertility friend. Cycles can be really weird after a m/c and everyone is different. If you don't chart it's basically a crap shoot.

I've had 3 missed m/cs. Once the fetal tissue is completely out, then your HCG (pregnancy hormone) begins to fall. You can track this down by yourself (using HPTs), or the doctor will track it for you using blood tests. Once it gets to <5, your body no longer 'thinks' it's pregnant. In general, 2 weeks after that day, you should ovulate, and about 2 weeks later, your first AF should arrive.

However, non-ovulatory cycles after a m/c of any kind are fairly common. Test yourself down until you get BFNs, then wait 5 weeks. If your period doesn't come, call your OB. They will likely have you wait up to 4 more weeks to see if it comes, before giving you a form of progesterone pills to fake your body into thinking it's ovulated and starting your period up.

I had a mm/c at 15 weeks last year and got my period 30 days later (pretty sure it was a non-ovulatory cycle), the next cycle was completely normal.  I had another mm/c at 16 weeks 4 weeks ago and still waiting...Dr. said it would take between 4 and 8 weeks for aunt flo to return.  I have been having a ton of EWCM, so I might be ovulating now and would expect my period in about 2 weeks - so 6 weeks total.  Hope it comes soon for you.
