Hi ladies! Happy Wednesday to you all ... At least I hope this finds you in a positive place today! I'll admit that I am again swamped at work, and have to unexpectedly put out a magazine in the next two days, in addition to my normal stuff. (Surprise Kacy, because obviously you don't have enough to worry about! Ha.) So, know I'll be around, but if I'm not quick to check back in, please don't take it personally. All of the July Moms constantly remain on my mind.

Sorry you are so swamped at work still! Hopefully it will slow down for you soon.

This has been a pretty decent week. We spent last weekend in Vegas for a USMC event and it was a lot of fun. The only bad part was I found out through one of DH's buddies that they are on the schedule to go to Afganistan next year. DH didn't tell me because he didn't want to worry me. Instead he said it was going to be a non combat deployment. I understand his reasoning but am still a little upset because I see it as him not thinking I am strong enough to handle it. So we have pretty much been on and off fighting for the week. Oh and to add a little drama, I am in 2WW from hell. I have pretty much convinced myself that this is the month because of all these little "signs" that really mean nothing but I am allowing myself to think they do since I can't learn from my mistakes apparently.So I will test this weekend, hopefully it is good news! Oh and I am charting, I just don't have a link to it because it was kinda wierding me out.

If this turns out to not be our cycle after all, I am starting Clomid. It took over a week to convince DH to try it because he is positive we are now going to have twins. Apparently, if he leaves me for 7 months with 2 babies at home he thinks he is going to come home to an empty house. Ummmm probably not.

Well this was a novel. Sorry about that, I have had a lot of venting to get off my chest I guess! I hope all is well with you guys. Have a Happy Mother's Day everyone. I personally don't have any special plans, I am going to treat it like any other day and try and forget about it.

Hope nobody minds if I keep checking in for a while - until I'm confident this will stick, I'm still lurking on TTCAL!  If anyone has an issue, let me know and I'll refrain.   

More bloodwork on Thursday to make sure my betas are doubling appropriately, so would appreciate any doubling vibes that y'all can send my way. 

Mother's Day:  I'll be on a plane, by myself, flying back from a cousin's wedding.  They invited me to stay for Mother's Day brunch, but I opted to spend it by myself.  It's safer that way.  It'll be a hard day...I'll be thinking about all of you as well. 

Kacy - sorry you're so buried at work.  I wish I could help.  I have things to do, but don't have near deadlines.  Since I'm a last-minute girl, I'm avoiding them.

Hey ladies!

This week has been really productive for me...we got a house! A freakin gorgeous one! In a great neighborhood! On a half acre! Can you tell that I'm tired of hotel life? We don't move in until next week and I just found out that our POD from CA won't get here until a week after we move in. Looks like we'llbe playing camp out at the new digs:)

 

DH and I had planned in going to Hot Springs for mothers day because i really want to take a mineral soak and have a massage but it looks like AF is going to rain on my parade. I think I'm on CD33 or something like that. I wish the old bat would just show up all ready. I've been having awful cramps for days. Btw, there is no phishing in the previous sentences,there was absolutely no nookie cd 1 to cd 24or so. It's pretty hard to get romantical when you are sleeping either next door to your parents or in your FIL bed ( but not with said FIL).

 

Hopefully everyone has a great week, hopefully i'll see you all next week from my very own house!

Hello Ladies! I hope you are all doing well.  I have also been very busy at work. I am 3DPO, so the 2WW begins. I got my CH's today. I'm not feeling too confident about this cycle, so we'll have to wait & see. 

As for Mother's Day, I'm really not doing anything.  Don't need the reminder.  Hope everyone has a great remainder of the week!

Kacy, I hope things calm down for you soon! 

 I'm 6 DPO, and completely making up phantom symptoms (much earlier then normal). My chest is tender, but I'm sure that's because I've been poking at it for 2 days!    Our timing wasn't great, and I don't have high hopes, but I'm still over analyzing every twitch.  AND AGAIN, I'm only 6 DPO!

GTKY: Mother's day isn't bothering me at all.  Maybe I'm in some sort of denial?  I don't know.  I'm a mom, I don't need Hallmark to tell me that.  I won't feel sad celebrating my own mom.  She deserves more then one day.  Again, this could all be false, and I'll be a mess on Sunday, but for now I don't think I'll be sad.

My week has been going good. DH sent me roses unexpectedly to work at the end of last week (after having a bad night - BFP mentioned, not mine of course), so that just made day. Those roses did so much for me. I had been pretty depressed and that little gesture picked me up and things all week have been great. I feel so much closer to DH right now. I guess I just needed a little boost. That "lovey" feeling towards him is back and I'm so happy it is. I am starting to feel a little bit more like myself this past week.

GTKY: Right now Mothers Day coming up hasn't brought me down (yet), but DH usually gets me card or something little since I'm step-mom to his daughter. Plus, I'll be so occupied this weekend with other things. Saturday is the Ohio Bumpie Get To Gether. There are 7 or 8 girls getting together from all over Ohio. WOOT WOOT! Then Sunday I'll be spending time with my mom and grandma, and then playing some volleyball later that evening.
