Random question - applying spray sunscreen to your child's face

Do you spray it directly on or do you spray on your hands and rub onto their face? I spray on my hands, but want to get a consensus of what most do.

This. I avoid the eyes. I have had sunscreen in my eyes and it burns!

Spray on my hands and then rub in but I generally do not use a spray sunscreen for the face area - I like lotions better for faces and just feel I get better coverage.

I usually use the sunblock stick for her face but if I only have spray I spray my hands, wait a bit so it's not so wet and then put it on her face.
