Anyone own an Ikea rug?

This is a totally random post but I'm hoping someone has a suggestion. We bought a small shag(ish) rug for DD's room last night and it had wrinkles in a few spots that are causing the rug to bend a little (tripping hazard). This is the second rug we have purchased from them in this material that has this problem.

Anyone have this rug and have a suggested as to how to get the kinks out? I'm getting a no slip mat for underneath to prevent future bunching but is there any way to get rid of the existing wrinkles? They are bugging the crap out of me.

We've bought several rugs from Ikea and the bumps have always flattened out in a couple of days after we set up the rug.  Perhaps you can try putting heavy weights and/or furniture over the bump to help smooth it out?

We have one, and it was in DS's room for a long time. It did take a while to get the 'rolls' out, but they came out eventually. They've been rolled for so long, you just have to wait it out. Try using cans to weight down the sides?

This is the rug, but I've noticed the problem with any of the high pile ones.

We have that rug too in C's room.  (It's actually his second, the first one was pooped on beyond saving.)  I second the weighting it down.  We love it!
