teething question

I asked this in the May 2011 board too, but thought I would try it here too.

My LO got her two bottom front teeth in January and the top left one just popped through a couple weeks ago. The top right one was trying to come out that same time, but it still hasn't popped through yet. The other ones all took only a day or two between when they started coming and when they popped through. Now I can feel a bump and see the front right tooth AND the one next to it! This has been 1 1/2 to 2 weeks and she has been soooo cranky and not wanting me to touch her mouth, even to brush her teeth. Anyone else have this kind of experience? How long does it usually take for your LOs teeth to pop through?

Sometimes it just takes awhile.

My LO has had 2 teeth since January..and that's it. She has 3 bumps though that have been there for months I swear. Just slow apparently. Somedays she doesn't even notice it and the next they make her a scream-y mess.

Teeth can take months to come in from the time you first notice them. Sometimes they come up and go back down a few times before cutting through. Molars are especially bad, it took over 4 months for DD1 to cut all of her 2 year molars.

They all vary. My LO has 8 teeth and is currently working on number 9 & 10 which is his canine teeth. His last two that came in at the top beside the middle teeth took the longest to break through. One came in right after the other. Others have came in faster. I think it just varies with each baby and tooth.
