Used Ergo?

I know this has been asked here before but I can't seem to find the post....

(Extra info, feel free to skip this paragraph!) I wore DD and I plan on wearing this babe.  I already have slings, a k'tan, and a babyhawk, and got a woven wrap for this babe.   DH never wore DD, but this time he really wants an Ergo.  I'd like to buy one gently used in case he doesn't actually use it; and it's not an option for him to use my carriers to see if he likes wearing the baby---he's set on the Ergo and ONLY the Ergo.   DH doesn't always take great care of things, so renting is not an option.

 

I remember there being a website that sells used carriers and the link being posted here, if someone could post the link again I'd really appreciate it!

I got mine on ebay. I found that to be the cheapest place. I got one, still with the original box, for $70 shipped. Just make sure the seller has lots of pictures, and you do your homework to make sure it's not a fake carrier. Here's how to tell the difference-

I checked out the site you're referring to (https://www.thebabywearer.com/index.php ), but I found them overpriced.

Check craigslist/consignment stores as well.

she mas a monthly or quarterly rate where you can get a new carrier every 1 or ever 3-4 months or you can keep the same one if it is still working for you. Different sizes and weights with the little one and different seasons of the year can be a reason to use different carriers at different times and that is why the rental is great! You dont have to buy them all! She also sells used carriers. Check her out. Good luck!

If you keep an eye out on www.babysteals.com they offer new Ergo's a few times each year for around $65/$70 so you can get a new one for the used price.

I got mine used for $6 at a consignment sale.  But I have been LOOKING every time I go to one, and I was there right when they opened this time. 

Keep looking if you want to get lucky... You never know!
