GI Appt (not really TTCALR)

So for those of you who saw my Ten Things Tuesday post, you know I went to see a GI doc yesterday.  Not great news.  I had some bloodwork done and am scheduled for a colonoscopy.  He suspects Celiacs disease, Crohns or Pancreatitis.

**sigh**

TTC is on hold until we know for sure what is going on...

Really sick of curve balls being thrown my way...

Just needed to vent.  Yay for CPW though!!!

ugh I'm sorry. I believe we have a few ladies here that have a few of those things, maybe they can give you some advice. Hope they figure it out soon for you.

Sorry you're dealing with this. I have Crohn's Disease, so PM me if you have any questions or if you want to chat, either about the dx or the testing. Hopefully you don't have any of those though!

I'm so sorry!  I hope the bloodwork and colonoscopy give you more answers.  I had a bunch of stomach issues in high school and had all of those tests done, I know they are not fun!  Hang in there, I hope that at least your doctors can come up with a treatment plan to help you feel better.

That sucks... I have Crohn's...I hope that is not what you have. If you do and have questions, give me a shout. What kind of prep are you doing for the colonoscopy?

Hi Kiki-looks like they have me doing the Gatorade/Miralax prep--I've heard it's a joy LOL!

I am getting ready for a gluten free trial run the month of June because my dr suspects a case of celiac, but the medical tests are so unreliable. I've been doing a bit of research, and would be happy to share my info if you would like!

So I have Raynauds which is a circulatory autoimmune kind of thing.  Both my sisters have it as well, and my younger sister was just recently diagnosed with a bad case or RA so I guess you could say we have some family history.  Good thing is, my older sister is a rheumatologist!!  (went into that specialty without even knowing about our little sis )

I would love to see what info you have gathered...PM when you get a chance.  Thanks!

Didn't have to do that one...if you had the golytely (pronounced go lightly and that is so NOT what it makes you do) I had some tips on how to get it down. Good luck...let us know how it goes.

::hugs:: I know how you feel. I'm having an endoscope done next Friday to find out what's going on with me. I highly suspect celiacs, as every time I eat pasta or breads I get very sick. Fx we BOTH get some fixable answers!
