No ovulation after D&C?

FF revoked my crosshairs this morning. so it looks like I didn't ovulate? I figured something was up. Is this common? I'm going to call the OB today for sure. Is it still a matter of popping some provera and getting back on track? Sorry fir all if the questions, but I'm trying to stay away from Dr. Google!

It is fairly common to have an annovulatory cycle.  I wouldn't worry too much unless a second cycle goes by without an O.  Keep charting, maybe your cycle is just off and you will just O later than usual.

Also, provera will just bring on AF, it does not make you ovulate.  Give your body some time.  If you are really concerned, call your doctor and I'm sure he will have no problems bringing you in to check around.

I can tell you that I've haven't O'd or had AF since my loss in January.  Provera didn't even bring it on.  After going back to the doctor, he found I had left over tissue and I ended up having a D&C last week.  Supposedly, the D&C would reset my system.  We shall see...

Thanks so much for the info RosieP (but sorry that you have to actually go through all this BS too)! I was pretty regular, before the m/c, and had shorter cycles, usually 26 - 27 days. I think I've had two anovulary cycles since my D&C.

I called the OB office and they asked if I was sexually active...I yes, but I'm sure I'm not pg bc I chart and know I haven't ovulated. I also POAS to make sure and got a BFN. BUT, they are making me go for bloodwork to check my HCG levels, which is probably good anyways to make sure nothing is leftover from the m/c. We've been TTA, and have been careful, so I know if I have any levels of HCG it's leftovers.

I'm going to do the bloodwork tomorrow before work, then when the OB office gets the results I will get an appointment. More waiting. You'd think this whole process would make me have more patientce....

I did not O in the 4 weeks between my d&c and my first AF.  I also did not O on my next cycle either.  I was even taking Clomid.  My RE said sometimes it just takes our bodies a little longer to adjust after the hormonal hell a miscarriage puts your body through.

 Thanks for the info Figgs, and sorry you're going through this too! I noticed your dates and that you had a later loss(that makes me realy sad, I'm so sorry). My loss was not quite an "early loss", but definately not late either. I was 12 w (14 by the time I had the D&C). When did you have your D&C? I'm wondering if our hormones are just more screwy than early natural miscarriages? Keep me updated on how things go for you as well!

Thinking of you, PK!  I really hope the BW gives you some peace of mind.  I'm glad your doc is being proactive about this!  FX that you can get this show on the road soon.  Keep us posted, please!  I've been thinking about you.

Who knows!  They probably are more screwy.  But, I didn't have this problem after my first loss.  I O'd twice and ended up pregnant after my first TTCAL cycle! 

I had to vaginally deliver both babies and I just had the D&C and hysteroscopy on 5/1.  After 3 months of no AF and a failed provera cycle, my doctor finally brought me in for an ultrasound.    Turns out I had a mass (which they were assumming was retained tissue) and I was still dilated almost 2 centimeters.  It is nuts.

This happened to me.  Strangley AF came on time, though.
