    one.  the  select takes two, but i like the city mini more and wish it took 2 seats...

    One, as do most (if not all) other side-by-sides. A lot of MoMs, including myself, started with a double snap-n-go stroller until they were out of their infant seats. You can probably find a used one for $40/$50 on craigslist.
