It looks like people are reading the posts, here's a final attempt to keep the board going...

How much do you know about your partner's past relationships/how many people he/she slept with?

How much does your partner know about your past?

Does it bother you to hear about your partner's past?

DH and I know everything about each other's pasts. (We even know some of each other's exes.) We know quite a lot of details. It would really bother me not to know and I wouldn't want to be censored about what I could share about my past.

I have a rough idea of my H's past, as he does mine. I don't know sordid details, and he doesn't know mine. I prefer it that way, and I believe he does too.

This sounds a lot DH & I - we have been married over 16 years so our lives before we were together is really old news.

We are pretty open so we know pretty much everything about each other.

We have had some detailed discussions but I can't for the life of me even remember his number (and sometimes can't remember my own). It's stuff we talked about in the way beginning but hasn't come up since. There are definitely details that I'm sure we haven't shared and I wouldn't care to...glad he's on the same page!

This is us. Our number is actually the same, I had more long term relationships. He was "friends" with my most recent ex and can't stand him. I've never met any of his ex's.

We were very open and honest at the beginning of our relationship and nothing needed to be brought up later on. I could care less what he did in the past, because that's where it stayed and he was the same with mine.

We both know everything. We were friends before we got together. Our 'pasts' happened during that time.

This is pretty much us, I know some of his ex's personally and he knows some of mine.

I don't know his exact number but he didn't keep count so he doesn't either.  He knows my number and we've openly talked about our ex's, in fact he's convinced that if my 2 serious ex's weren't my ex's that they would probably get along great.  It bothered me when we first got together but I think it was more because the beginning of our relationship was pretty rocky.  We can openly talk and joke about pretty much anything now, except farting.

I know about a few relationships (because he has children) and also his more serious relationships before me.

he knows what he needs to, LOL, but he doesn't like details. So I dont give 'em!

Same - general terms.  I've only slept with a couple of other guys (by which I mean two)

Nah - it was all before he knew me, all I cared about was that his STD test was clean.
