Handprint fiasco

So I needed two sets of hand and footprints for the mothers day thing I made, and it did not go well. She did alright with the feet, but I think the paint was a little cold. It was a nightmare trying to get her to open her hand. She screamed! So I tried again when she was sleeping but she quickly woke up. I just fought through the screams and washed her off. She continued to scream for 20 minutes because she was overtired and mad! Oh well, the project looks cute at least.

Handprints are difficult when they are so young because of their grasp reflex.  My hospital doesn't even do newborn handprints just footprints.
