Hi Ladies!

I have decided to separate the IVF Check-In into 2 lists, 1 for each board and I'm asking for someone on the IF board to take over that list, so I'm not managing both.

So come on out of lurking and post an update, even if your waiting to cycle!

UPDATED:  Update on me.....

I have done some general medical checkups to get ready for this FET. I got my CA-125 (Ovarian C) results today - they are 14 so normal and I had a mammogram this morning so will get that back in 7 days. Friday is baseline and signing consents for FET. Last BCP Saturday, start folgard and Estrace next week and then I am off an running for my one and only FET.

** I was having real doubts over even doing this cycle last week. I had friends here from the UK and they were talking about travel, plans to meet up next year somewhere etc and I was thinking "why am I doing this etc etc". Maybe this is normal, maybe not but I needed the week out of town for work last week to have me time to really think about this.

My friends from the UK are just being certified for foster parents and in a weird way that made me feel better that as our really close friends, abeit thousands of miles away, and the only ones that will have kids in their lives that we are doing the right thing and what we really want.

Please don't flame me for this but for so long the challenge has been to get PG the overcome chromosome issues, now that we have overcome the chromosome issues then for some reason the challenge changed. Now it is just to get PG and Fx that this FET will get us there **

Update: trying on our own this cycle for a miracle.  WTF for failed IVF 4 at RE on 5/24.  Add'l testing for Dh at mfi uro on 5/25.  Unless anything earth-shattering is discovered with Dh's testing, planning on IVF 5 in July.

Update: Still chugging along on bcps.  Sunday is my last day on them, and then bring on the monitoring and stims!

QOTW:  Do you like the format below?  Any suggestions about changing it around? I think the format is just fine, and I think the list will be a lot more manageable now that it's split between the boards.

Update:  I moved on to a new RE, doing some more testing and planning to move forward with the antagonist protocol hopefully next month.

Update - not a clue when FET #2 is... Turns out I might not be delayed or I will be only 2 weeks delayed.  Depends on when AF arrives next.  D&C results were uniformative... Makes me all the more pissed that I had it done

Update:

We are gearing up for our FET with the next cycle. I don't know when my next cycle will begin even though I've been charting. It still doesn't appear I've ovulated after a 20+ day cycle.  

If this doesn't work IVF-ICSI 3 will be as soon as possible after and then we're maxed out for coverage, which means looking at other options in our early 30s. Definitely humbling.

I've lost a lot of faith in this, so I am trying to stay as emotionally uninvolved as possible. We are doing what we can to focus on enjoying life even if that's a life without the family we envisioned. 

QOTW:  I like the split. I'd prefer to be more active over here. Thanks for doing this, Bella!

Update:  One week into Lupron, and so far so good.  My "mile high" injection went fine last night - the only "adventure" was trying to let someone go ahead of me (so I wasn't feeling like I needed to rush) but she didn't speak any English.  I did feel rushed, and didn't go in at a perfect 90 degree angle and gave myself quite the bleeder.  Such is life   I go in on Monday for my baseline and I'm a bit worried.  That appointment last cycle was when I started down the delayed and eventually cancelled path - just hoping that doesn't happen again.

QOTW: Do you like the format below? Any suggestions about changing it around? I like it because I actually "know" all the people on the list.  I think the split is good.

Update: DH and I decided to do move forward with the FET with our two frosties with our current RE in June.  The quality of our frosties are ehh so-so and we don't even know if they will survive the thaw.  We felt it was important to give these frosties a chance before making drastic changes.  We are hoping for a miracle, but we more or less going through the motions as we plan for a third fresh cycle at ORM in the fall.  I am currently on BCP's for the FET.

Glad everyone is liking the split! Update on me - Still stimming, on day 9 today and starting to feel uncomfortable, but I guess a daily dose of 300iu of follistim will do that. I have 8 measurable follies, but I'm guessing there's more and my RN thinks my ER will be this Sat or Mon.
