rash from Ergo?

My DD's skin has always been sensitive.  It gets red very easily, but it usually goes away quickly.  We use dye and fragrance free detergent and haven't changed brands recently.  We've had the Ergo for months, and she's been fine.  Lately she is getting a rash on her neck after only being in the carrier for 15 minutes.  I recently washed it to see if an outdoor pollutant was causing the rash...but still a rash.  She is trying to look out more and is turning her head from side to side.  Has anyone had this before?

I'm flying with her (by ourselves...yikes) on Friday, so I will need her to be in it for a while.  I'm thinking of trying to put her arms up and out (she is small...17lbs...so her arms have still been below).  I'm also thinking of bringing rash cream with me to the airport to put on her neck if needed.  Any other suggestions??  Thanks!

How warm has it been when you've been wearing her? Could it be a heat rash? If it's not bothering her, I wouldn't worry too much though...

Not too warm...other than normal baby heat.  The last time was in my house while I was vacuuming.  Thermostat is set to 68.  The time before that was at the mall and somebody commented that the carrier must be hurting her...ugh.
