Just accidentally washed ...

Two disposable nursing pads in the washing machine. Ugh! Now the "clean" clothes have these disgusting gel balls all over them. And the kicker is, I don't even need them for leaking, I just use them for at work after I'm done pumping so people can't see the hard nips!

What is the worst thing you've ever accidentally washed?

** Edit** I rewashed the clothes and most all the gel balls were gone.  The little teeny tiny ones were zapped up by the dryer!

Holy Cow!  What kind of crazy washer do you have?  I've washed money a bunch of times but I've never had it come out in pieces!

    This made me lol.  Thanks!

I've never had trouble with a washing machine destroying money like that either.
    $100 - I'd be upset too!

Have you had the opportunity to rewash/rinse your clean clothes yet?  I'm curious as to how difficult it will be to get rid of the gel balls.

I cloth diaper so I haven't had the gel ball issue with diapers, but a day or so ago all those white water proof cloths you can put on the changing pad were dirty so I grabbed a puppy pad (DD likes naked butt time).
She peed on it and was covered in those gel balls.
They were the hardest things ever to get off her skin!  I must have gone through a bazillion wipes...

    Good luck with your laundry!

I usually just wash a red sock with my whites or whatever, but my sister in law has washed three cell phones.

If that doesn't work, maybe if you run them through the dryer the balls will dehydrate and fall off easier?  Just a suggestion...

It's a Maytag Neptune. The money went through with H's work jeans, so I think it was more the jeans that did the shredding than the wash itself.

That actually happened to me too - but the gel balls came from a diaper.  I don't know how that ended up in the washing machine!  But I rewashed everything and it all came out fine.  I hope your clothes do too!

    GO HOKIES!

chapstick. Ruined all of the clothes in the load.

I used to do this ALL THE TIME in high school; sometimes Stain Stick worked and sometimes my clothes were trashed.

I accidentally washed a breastpad a few months ago. It got huge and puffy but didn't actually burst. I thought it was cool but DH thought it was gross and made me throw it away, lol.

OP. hope your clothes come clean!
