toddler UTI?

Anyone's toddler have a UTI before?  DD will sometimes complain her tushy hurts and then after additional discussion I've found out it's her front that actually hurts.  Well she's also been complaining her tummy hurts, and then yesterday she had maybe 3 accidents, and she's been fully potty trained for a while.   she had a low temperature (like 99) last week too.

Does this sound like a UTI? she's not complaining it hurts to pee, which is what my experience with UTIs has been like, but the daycare suggested that's what it could be. 

I'm going to call my pediatrician, but she doesn't come in till 1 on Mondays - so just wondering if anyone else has experienced anything similiar.

My niece would get them and it sounds like that's what it is. Poor thing

I thought DD had one b/c she complained of pain when she urinated; she was sick in other ways as well so I'm not sure if it was related.  When I called the pedi with an update to symptoms that I told him of earlier that day he said it was rare that toddlers get uti's but possible.  If you do need to bring her in I would try to catch some urine before going to avoid having to do it on site.  I would ask first regarding how long ahead of time you can do this.

Ava had a bladder infection a few months ago, very similar to what you described.  She is fully potty trained, and she wet the bed for the first time and had five accidents that day.  We brought her in, and they tested her urine and gave us antibiotics.   Poor thing!
