Follie check??

I just started my first round of Clomid on Sunday.  cd 5-9.  I have to go cd 22 for bloodwork to check progesterone.  Dr hasn't said anything about doing a follie check....should I be concerned and call and request one?? or just use this cycle kind of as a trial run?? TIA!

    YES!  CALL!  Unmonitored ovulation induction without a good track record is dangerous.  I assume you are with an OB and not an RE?  The Follie Check is important part of a trial run... you have to know how many follies are being formed, if there are any cysts, how your lining is responding, and you need to watch out for potentially life threatening complications.  You doctor should be keeping a close eye on you, especially if this is your first round.  GL you you - let us know what the doc says!

    Ok Thanks!! I'll call them today!!  Yes, it's an ob since i'm actually just beginning the IF treatments.
