What kind of makeup do you use?

I'm looking for some new products to try out. I dont wear a lot of makeup, usually just powder, mascara, and maybe a little bit of bronzer.

I'm thinking I'd like to try some consealer (love those pregnancy pimples!), eyeshadow, new mascara etc. 

Just wondering if anyone could share what they currently use or recomend a brand to try.

I use Bare Minerals foundation & love it! It is easy to apply, and feels really light. 

For mascara, I use Maybeline Great Lash. DH bought my the Naked Palette eye shadow for Christmas, which I like but I dont use all of the colors.

I use Origins Youthtopia foundation.  I LOVE it.  Their skincare stuff is pretty awesome too.  Pretty much everything else I have is Clinique.  I can't remember the last time I bought lipstick or mascara, because I always buy my makeup when they are doing their free gift bags, which always have those in them.

I use TIGI everything (except their foundation)... Their powders are triple baked so they have lots of pigment and go a long way.

My mom has been a make up artist for over 30 years and currently works for YSL.  The makeup can be a little pricey, but the one thing I would recommend is the mascara!  It is seriously the BEST mascara in the world and totally worth the money!!  She has worked for all of the major makeup companies, including Elizabeth Arden, Shiseido, and she was the national make up artist for Revlon.  I have tried tons of different brands of makeup and the YSL mascara is THE BEST!  You can get it at Sephora if you don't want to go to the actual makeup counter in the malls. 

As far as concealer, I am currently using the Clinique Acne Solution.  It has a little salicylic acid in it, but it is used in such a small dose, my doctor said it was fine.  It seems to help the massive break outs I've been having since I got pregnant.  HTH!

I use Bare Minerals for the foundation, bronzer, and mineral veil.  I use Urban Decay for eyeshadow primer, eyeshadow, and an eyeliner pencil.  And I use Maybelline Great Lash for mascara.

Me three. My skin was really irriated by a lot of other makeups. For some reason MAC doesn't mess with my skin and I can wear less and less makeup.

Clinique foundation, concealer and powder. Clinique High Impact Mascara is my favorite. I have a Coastal Scents 88 eyeshadow palette that I use most of the time but I also have a few MAC and Clinique eyeshadows. I use L'Oreal eyeshadow primer and a bunch of different brands for lipstick. On vacation recently, I wore MAC tinted moisturizer instead of foundation because I didn't want to sweat off my makeup and it was great so I will probably wear that a lot this summer.

Bare Minerals... I wasn't a believer until I tried it.  Looks natural, lasts forever.  Go to Macy's or a dept store and have them put it on you and see what you think

I love going to Sephora and poking through all of the different options without a makeup counter person right next to me the whole time...I use Dior Iconic mascara, which I lovelovelove, and I've tried the other Diorshow mascaras, which are also fabulous, just depends on the kind of brush you prefer. For eyeshadow, I like Stila and Shu Uemura, lip gloss I like Stila, Tarte, and Korres, and I don't wear much more than that. Concealer I've tried a bunch of different ones, and I prefer the tubes that don't have wands. I used to use a Lancome concealer, then for some reason switched over to a Neutrogena one with SPF, which I've used ever since.

YAY, makeup   One of my fave topics, LOL.  I don't wear a ton of makeup either, but I use a wide variety of brands and definitely have my favorites.    

Mascara:  Tarte - Lights, Camera, Lashes; Dior - Diorshow; Covergirl - Lash Blast; L'Oreal - Voluminous

Concealer: Covergirl - Fresh Complexion (spot coverage or to cover larger areas); MAC - Studio Finish (use with concealer brush for dark spots/acne); Maybelline - Instant Age Rewind (under eye); YSL - Touche Eclat (under eye and for highlighting)

Blush:  Nars - Orgasm; Tarte - Amazonian Clay; Benefit - Dandelion; Covergirl - Cheekers

Eyeshadow: MAC, Chanel, Dior, Urban Decay - All are highly pigmented and last.  I have had bad luck with drugstore brands so I tend to spend my money with eyeshadow and skimp on mascara and lip color.

Powder: Physician's Formula - Pressed Mineral Powder and Pressed Mineral Bronzer; Covergirl - Clean Pressed Powder; Coty - Airspun Loose Powder; MAC - StudioFix Powder Plus Foundation; Chanel - Double Perfection Matte Powder Foundation

Foundation:  Make Up Forever - Mat Velvet +; Chanel - Mat Lumiere; Almay - Clear Complexion 

Lips: Revlon - Super Lustrous lipstick; MAC - lipstick and lipgloss; Rosebud Salve

Add another to the Bare Minerals!  Love it!  I tried it 8 yrs ago and never looked back!!!

I use bare minerals foundation and mineral veil.  Clinique blush, bronzer and eye shadow and Maybelline falsies flared mascara.  I also use stiletto eye liner (maybelline also, I think) 

Beyond anything else, I definitely recommend bare minerals.  I had horrible skin and it always looks fresh and it doesn't irritate my face at all.  I get mine from Sephora (get a starter pack if you try it).
