Thanks I'm trying to decide if it would be worth it for us to buy it (the double) now or wait awhile. We've been using the DSNG but I feel like they'd be cooler and more the stroller.
I wouldn't have used mine until my kids could sit up and stay that way unassisted. My girls were always peanuts though, so that's why I felt more comfy putting them in there when they could sit.
I'm using mine for walks in the neighborhood now, the girls are 2 months old. I have the seats reclined and head supports. The girls seem to like being able to look around.

it became our daily use stroller when we moved the girls out of their infant seats at 7.5ish months...before then we only used it a handful of times for neighborhood walks...
I used it almost right away with the seats fully reclined and the girls wrapped in a blanket. I just buckled the straps in at the bottom but didn't put them over the girls chests. It's such a great stroller for walks - we only used the DSNG for errands.

Around 3-4 months. We put the infant head supports in to stabilize their heads. Worked well.
This, except we actually put them in it around 2 months for the first time. The good thing about the Mini is that you can raise/lower the back support, so we lowered it all the way so they were laying down and then used the bobby head noggin supports so they didn't roll all over. We've only used it a couple of times but I liked it because we could adjust the shades so when it was really sunny it didn't bother the girls. My MIL only uses our Mini to take the girls on walks, she hates the DSNG for some reason. My mom refuses to use the Mini. It's a matter of preference really.

Around 7m but that was b/c I waited to get through winter (my boys were born in September). I'd have used it sooner, maybe @ 5months, w/ supports if necessary if it had been summer.
It lays back pretty far. We started using ours as soon as we got it but that was just recently. We did have others that we used earlier around 4 months, I think.

I am so glad to read this. I plan on using it right away for neighborhood walks. The stroller specs state you can start using it for newborns.

Our crazy, wonderful life
Off topic, but I LOVE your girls names!
