Water Tables

Anyone who has a water table...does your LO really love it or do you think they are still too young to enjoy it?  I have been looking online at them today, and many of the recommended ages are 2-3 years plus, so I was wondering if maybe I need to hold off another year or no?

DS liked it last year but really didn't play with it as often as I thought he would since he loves being in the pool and bathtime.  This year I'm sure he will play with it more often since he plays in anything that holds water.

We bought one and he loves it!  You can also use it for sand/rice in the cold months.  We bought one at TRU on sale with a gift card, but normally this is the type of toy I would look for on Craigslist.

My LO adores her water table.  We use it every day.

My DD loves it. She stands at the back slider and yells "Wawa!!!" until I let her go play in it . It's a daily activity in our house.

DS loves the dogs water dishes. He could play in them every day if I let him!

With the 95 degree heat today, I couldn't resist.  I bought the Little Tikes pirate one.  It was a big hit.  I think she played with it for almost an hour today.

We set ours up today. It was too cold for water, but DS loved playing with all the toys. I know he is going to love when we add the water. He loves to play with water. We got the step 2 tropical island resort and there is a lot to play with. I cannot wait for the warm weather.

See my post above.  Little Tikes pirate.  It is more expensive than some, but it comes with more things to do.  I got a great deal at TRU today on it - on sale, plus they gave members an extra $10 off.

C loves it, he got to use it at a year old a couple of times before it got too cold for winter. We have already played with it a couple of times this spring. We have the Pirates water table, aaarrrgggh!

A got one for his birthday but I just set it up today and he loved it. We have this one:

He spent a good 20 minutes playing with it today, which is awesome. Anything that holds his attention for more than 2 minutes is a win in my book.

I'd hold off for another year.  We got one for Easter, and LO could really care less.  I'm hoping she likes it more next year because right now it is  looking like a huge waste of money.  She'd rather splash and play in the baby pool.

Edit:  I see you already got one, so nevermind on my advice!  The pirate one looks cool.  We have the step2 one a PP linked and I think maybe the problem is there just isn't much to do.  But mostly she doesn't get it.  She tries to climb in it, gets mad that she can't, and that's that.
