TTC after 35

IUI#3 in the books

We had our third IUI this morning.  If any of you recall me posting about my first two, they were absolutely miserable.  Very painful, lots of bleeding & cramping, and even with all that, my doctor never got to my uterus.  Today, my doctor gave me a paracervical block, which from what I can tell is the gynecological equivalent of novacaine.  Oh my goodness, this IUI was so much better!  I still have the bleeding, but my doctor was actually able to get to my uterus.  Hooray!

It was pouring rain when I went in, and blue skies and sunshine when I came out.  I'm going to take it as a sign!

  • Pain-free is a beautiful thing!

And I'm going to predict that having the IUI procedure be less painful and traumatic will help you and your body relax and concentrate on implanting and growing that little embie!
