Just wondering at what age your baby reached 25 lb, or have they yet? Or does anyone know where I can find a chart that shows the average baby's growth? Google is being less than helpful. Thanks!
She's just about 25lbs now at 9m, but it's definitely not the average for 9m. She's been 95% for weight/height since she was 1m old. I would think the average 25lber is between 12-18m old. I'm just guessing based on the fact the I know my LO is pretty huge for her age though.

Kellan was 19.5lbs at 9 months, and that put him smack in the middle of the 25th percentile, so I guess you can use that to guesstimate. It is different for boys vs girls tho.

DS was 23lb at his 6mo check up. But he was in like the 98 percentile then. He's been walking since 10 months so he hasn't gained like he did in the beginning, he's 26lb now. Every baby is different though.
He hasn't yet. He was 21lbs, 6 oz at 9m. That was 73rd percentile, since his height is in the 90th percentile. Based on how his growth has slowed since he started moving, he'll be well over a year before he hits 25 pounds.
Here are growth charts so you can get a basic idea of when to expect 25 pounds for an average baby.

BFP#2 11/19/10...EDD 8/4/11
Squeaker born 7/30.
My 2.5 year old *might* weigh 25lbs fully clothed with a ready to burst diaper. She was 17 lbs at 9months, and has only gained about 7-8 lbs in 2 years. There are alot of factors for this. She was very active at a young age (walked at 8 months) and a picky eater, plus DH and I are on the small side.
My 9 month old weighs approx. 18lbs. She is just now starting to be active, but she eats anyhting and everything. I would not doubt that she surpasses her older sister here soon.
I have myself a little peanut, weighing in at 15 lbs 4 oz at 9 mon. I can't imagine her hitting 25 lbs before the age of two, but I think she is an exception and is somewhere around the 5th percentile.

I have the giant, lol. DD weighed 26 lbs at her 9M appointment. That being said, she's only gained 1 lb since, so she seems to be slowing (FINALLY) with all the activity. She's been off the charts for weight and height the last 2 appointments though.
i think the general "rule" is that a baby will triple their birth weight by a year. so something like that. my DD was 8 lbs at birth so she will probably be close to 24-25lbs at a year old.

This exactly. She won't be 25 pounds until well over a year if not 2!

LO was 25lbs at his 9 mo appointment. He was always a big boy though, 10lbs 2oz at birth. He has always been 97% for his weight.
The way I see it is it doesnt matter what average is, every baby is different. As long as the doctor is not concerned, everything is good.
