Shaving Around Scar

I desperately want to shave these hairs on my bikini line that seem dangerously close to my c-section scar. I'm seven weeks postpartum and my doctor says my scar is healing nicely. I forgot to ask about shaving at my six week checkup. Is it okay to shave over the scar? Should I be concerned about cutting it open? I need to get rid of these hairs! Okay, I don't neeeeed to, but I really want to! Lol.

I think you are totally fine to shave at this point! Just be careful!

Around 4 weeks pp I shaved downward, it was fine.

Go for it (very carefully, of corse)! I shaved at 8 weeks pp and it was fine.

It's safe to shave now, it just might not be comfortable. I know for me, it is bothersome to touch the scar for a few months, butI suck it up and shave really quickly.

You should be fine just be careful like the others have said.  I shaved 3 weeks after...I just went over it once or twice carefully.
