We're having DS baptized in 2 weeks and are having cake and a light lunch at our house afterward, but I have no idea what to serve for lunch. Any ideas for something inexpensive and "light"? TIA!
We had a luncheon. Started with nice cheese and crackers (and mimosas of course!). Chicken salad with nice bread/rolls. Orzo salad with shrimp and dill. Fresh tomatoes with basil. And had a couple of pies for dessert, coconut cream and berry.
I like the soup/bread/roll idea....especially since it's cooling down here. Something different and "light". Think I'll still do meat/cheese tray with crackers though too.
Re: What to serve for lunch after baptism?
you could just do sub sandwiches and side salads.
we did some pasta and baked chicken with a salad
