Intro., loss this week

Hello Everyone,

My name is Kristen and I am coming over here from the November 2012 board. My husband and I were expecting our first, and had a miscarriage in the 11th week a few days ago. They think it was a blighted ovum, that the placenta was developing but the embryo didn't. I had to have emergency laproscopic surgery because they weren't sure if it was ectopic. Turned out not to be, which was a good sign. They say I have a great chance of conceiving again and having a healthy pregnancy.

It's nice to have a board where I can read about and talk with others who understand.

I just realized that there is a pregnancy loss/miscarriage board as well. Is this board more appropriate for those who lost later? Not sure where I should be.

Sorry for your loss. Yes this bored is intened for late pregnancy loss, stillbirth, infant loss, or that of an older child.
