I am a FTM and I am confused by baby movement. I have just started feeling things that I think are the baby moving but I don't know. This morning while getting ready I kept feeling a dull jolt from the inside. I was low, lower than my belly button and higher than my hip... could this be kicks? Is it too early for kicks (19w6d)? I think I am truly scared that I'm gonna miss something ...nothing I feel, feels like flutters but sometimes gas. Can anyone shed some light?
Re: movement?
Everyone is different. STM usually feel them sooner since they know what it feels like and can distinguish the feeling from others. That being said, I am a FTM and I started feeling my baby 15w6d, which is super early compared to my FTM friend who was well over 20 weeks before she noticed her baby moving.
I'm not sure from what you are explaining but honestly, IMO, I think you will know when it's your baby. If you've had gas pangs before you will be able to set them apart.

this made me laugh harder than it should have.

FTM here and I felt the baby on Monday. I was laying on my stomach (I know, bad me) and the baby kicked me several times. I rolled over and MH even felt it. Guess she doesn't like when I squish her. I was 19w exactly.
