Cloth Diapering

Cheaper places to buy...

Is it cheaper to buy CDs on the manufacturers website or other sites?

What sites carry used CDs? How do I know if they are of ok quality?

For NB stage, I have to purchase online. For the infant stage (6-8weeks) I can shop in an actual store if it would be cheaper.

Getting seconds from the manufacturer is definitely cheaper.

Once I decided what I was getting, I looked around at major on-line retailers, to compare the base price, any promotions (ie, is there a discount if you get a dozen?), free shipping and the rewards program. Different stores will be better for different types of diapers.

  • Also keep your eye out for online stores that offer discounts/free shipping. With memorial day coming up, a lot of them may be offering sales.

Facebook also has B/S/T groups for each type of cloth diaper, if you are looking to get used diapers, it's a great way to save money!

I can't imagine online stores would be more expensive then others, as there is an MSRP that needs to be met.

  • Try Amazon.  I got new prefolds and covers there for a reasonable price.  Plus it's easier to deal with them if there's any problems.
