Re: Girl Name Spelling

  • I had a friend named Annaleise. Spelled with the 'a' and the 'ei.' I think it is  a beautiful name and everyone will pronounce it correctly with any of your spellings.

  • I do think it's a pretty name, but I'm worried that people might not know how to pronounce it.

Being a german name I think, traditionally the "e" at the end wound sound like an "a".  Are you planning to pronounce it like Anna-lee-sa?

No, we're planning to pronounce it like "Ann-uh-Leese"

This.  I would never in a million years pronounce this name Anna-lee-sa, it seems like a completely different name to me.

  • This name is just to froufy for me, not a fan.  I would prefer Anna or Elise.
  • Sorry it's always Anal Ease to me

I like the name but my neighbor's DD is Annaliese and I forget how to spell it all the time so I already feel bad for the poor kid. However, I think people will pronounce it correctly with any of your spellings.
