I am so confused... I am EBF and yet to get a cycle (DS is 4 mo) DH and I
are not using any form of protection and do want #2 close in age. For
the last few days I have been feeling sick to my stomach... and when I
force to eat it starts to diminish. I don't feel sick any other way...
fever etc, and also feel sometimes aches in pelvis area. BUT took a test
and both times were neg. Has this happened to anyone?
Re: Anyone have morning sickness before pos test, also on 3-6mo
The cycle before I got my BFP, I had morning sickness 4 days in a row. It's normal to feel nauseous in the latter half of your cycle because your body is producing progesterone regardless if you're pregnant or not.
With #2, I started feeling sick on March 4th, and by March 7th since I hadn't actually gotten sick with a virus or anything, and I also had horrible neck pain which I had while pg with DD1, I pretty much knew I was pg. I POAS on March 10th, 11th, and 13th, and all were negative. I finally got a faint BFP on March 15th.
With #3, I pretty much knew I was pg around September 7th/8th, but due to being in the 2 week wait, I held out until Sept. 15th to POAS and the first test as faintly positive. I took another one the following week which was more obviously positive.
With this pregnancy we were charting to avoid. We thought we were safe, but then I started feeling queasy. I kept trying to tell myself it was my imagination. I even took a test after a couple days and it was negative. The next day the queasiness was worse, so I took another test and it was positive.
Even so, I have had a few other times where I wondered because I was feeling queasy, but it wasn't because of pregnancy.
With my first pregnancy I was throwing up 4 days after conception. With this second pregnancy I had brief waves of nausea during the 2ww but the really nasty morning sickness didn't hit until around 6 weeks.
FWIW- I didn't nurse for very long but while I was I had similar symptoms due to the hormones. It went away quickly after I stopped pumping.
