This year is going to be a "game" year for Christmas gifts.
I'm getting my BIL (and his family) Scrabble. I would also like to get my M/FIL a game. What games would you consider buying for a 58 year old couple that've been married for 37 years?
I highly recommend the game Ticket to Ride. It's just a great game overall. We play it with my parents a lot, and they really enjoy it - even though they aren't "hard core gamers" like we are!
Re: Boardgames for older couple?
Twister? Just kidding.
How about Apples to Apples? I have not played it, but some friends of our got it for Christmas a couple of years ago and they really like it.
Maybe some card games. Uno. Skipbo.
