I posted a question similar to the one I am about to post now on the 6-9 month board and every response was to CIO and I don't want to do that so I would like some help. My family is unsupportive times a million so yeah.
Pretty much DD sleeps in her own crib most of the time. (Sometimes we cosleep, but she sleeps better in her crib probably because she doesn't have to listen to my snoring.) She normally sleeps well (12 hours, very few wake ups) and I have nothing to complain about once she is asleep.
She has two teeth now and is currently cutting four more. It is pretty much hell. So we are trying to keep her as comfortable as possible. We were trying to stop her from falling asleep on the bottle to keep her current teeth from rotting, but it is not working at all. I have read the No Cry Sleep Solution cover to cover, and we have tried not to let her fall asleep on the bottle but she just will not sleep without it. She cries and cries until she is turning red and can hardly breathe. She has BAD reflux and crying makes it worse so we do everything we can to keep her from crying even a little bit. With her teething she has a ton of congestion so crying makes that worse as well. After only maybe 2 or 3 minutes of crying (while we rock her and try to soothe her of course) she will vomit up everything in her stomach. Then we have change my clothes and her clothes, and sometimes bathe her all over again, then since her stomach is empty we have to feed her again and she falls asleep on the bottle.
No matter how much rocking or bouncing or singing we do nothing works. We have done the Moby wrap, the sling, and also car and stroller rides.
I really don't want her pretty little teeth to get cavities. She is in enough pain as it is from getting her teeth, and once they are all in I want her to be pain free for as long as possible. I feel so bad for her and I don't know what else I can do.
