Elective u/s question

For those of you that have had an extra elective ultrasound, where did you go (your own OB or a private imaging place, etc.), and how much did it cost you?

My friend wants to have another u/s to get another look at her LO, so we were wondering these things.  Thanks!

Not sure where you're located (and I've never had one), but there is a chain - Womb with a View - with locations in several states on the East Coast.

Thanks!  I googled this type of u/s for our area and found a few.  I didn't realize there were actually separate 3d u/s locations.  I just thought they would be part of a private imaging place or something along those lines.

We used a little boutique-style place. It was about $90 for the "gender package", which included a DVD and a few minutes of 3D.

I'm not getting one done, but the only one near me is $99 for a 2D gender and $200 for 3D.  It's also a boutique place...strictly for sex/looking at baby, not medical.

We live in TX and paid 65 for our 2D Gender Scan that came with 5 print-out pictures of baby.  They also turned 3-D on for a minute, although I would not have paid for 3D pictures yet since I think the baby still looks a little strange in 3D this early. I would rather pay for 3-D later.  We went to a boutique type place the just does ultrasounds too.
