Normally, I would say it's too matchy, but I love Jude and Juniper so much that I don't even care. Jude will be this baby's MN (if it's a boy), and I would totally use Juniper for our girl name if DH didn't hate it so much.

As far as the letters and pronunciation of the names, yes, too matchy matchy. As a sibset, these two names don't go together very well IMO. Jude is a very classic name and Juniper is kind of hippie-ish. Like using Brayden and Blythe for siblings, two different styles of names. I would keep looking, maybe use Juniper as a MN.

I don't like alliterative names. I think it will be very confusing for you.
And I agree with the PPs that styles of these two names seems off. I actually read them as Jade and Juniper thinking it was a nature sibset. (And I was going to chime in that I met sisters named Clementine and Clover.) I think of Jude as a saint's name so it seems odd paired with a plant name IMO. I don't think you have to stick with another saint name, but something more traditional than Juniper.

Juniper is a saints name too. But yeah, they don't really match in style, and they're very similar in sound. I think my love for the name might be strong enough to overcome that though.
