I went from not getting any BH contractions to having them constantly. Anytime I roll over in bed, or get up from sitting, or walk anywhere, basically do anything I get at least 1 if not 2-4 back to back. Is this normal? They go away if I'm just sitting/laying still. I'm drinking tons of water and really hardly doing anything. I'm tempted to call my Dr. but they always act like I'm a huge inconvenience and I don't have another appointment for a week. We had to reschedule so I won't see a dr for 3 weeks. I'm probably being overly concerned. TIA!!!
Re: Braxton Hick's Contractions
I've been going through the exact same thing for the last...8 weeks maybe? I've been going to the OB's office every two weeks and for the last several appointments they have done an NST, internal exam and FFN just to check to see if the contractions have been productive. Luckily, they have not been. At first I was VERY anxious about all the contractions, but I've gotten used to it now. I think it's just going to be my "normal".
FWIW, I don't think you are being overly concerned. My OB and her RN were adamant that I call if I had more than 4-6 contractions in an hour. Keeping your LOs in for as long as possible is way more important that being an "inconvenience" to the staff. I think you should call. Good luck!
