bleeding TMI

I'm Sorry I'm asking this! My husband tells me to call my Dr but I'm sick of calling the office for everything. They for sure think I'm the loon that calls for everything! The bleeding was totally letting up I was only wearing a panty liner now it's back to full force,not sure if thats normal or not. My Dr did tell me I could bleed up to 6 weeks thats why I don't feel like I need to call right away.How long did you ladies bleed for? Sorry I know it's totally TMI.. TIA Just want some feedback before I'm the loon who call the office again! : )

I can't remember exactly how long I bled for, but I know it wasn't 6 weeks... but is it possible that this is your first postpartum AF?  I think I got my first period roughly 6 weeks after I delivered... so that could be it?

I don't see any harm in calling though, it's their job.

I remember after i had my baby I bled for over 6 weeks then after it stopped it started up agin because i was doing too much and pushing myself physically too hard. Have you done any strenous activity that could have started it? Be careful though that the bleeeding isn't too much, I actually passed out from loss of blood.

I bled for 5 weeks then off one and got AF the 6th week.

I bleed for 4 weeks, had no bleeding for a week, and then got AF the following week.

Thanks for the response guys this is exactly what I thought, AF. I'm having the same symptoms as AF just didn't know if it was possible but you confirmed my suspicions! : )

I stopped bleeding right around three weeks then stopped for a couple days to a week then started again. Called the doctor and they said not af that they usually say it starts at 6-8 weeks after. I would say call your doctor and make sure or see what they say. It would be good if you know for sure bc everyone is different.  GL!!

I bled for about 3 or so.  When it doubt, call the doctor!!
