So I heard back on my biopsy yesterday and she said that it showed an even lover level of abnormal cells than my pap did and a slight presence of HPV so her recommendation is to have a follow up pap in 6 months which she is pretty confident will come back ok this time. So at least that is one less thing to worry about.
Secondly today was the day my ultrasound was scheduled for but AF finally decided to make her appearance this morning after 26 days of keeping me waiting. So since the GYN I saw no longer delivers babies & I'm not happy with the RE I decided to cancel my ultrasound this morning and I'm going to start fresh with a new OBGYN. Hoping that I can find a good one this time that can refer me to a decent RE with a little better bedside manner.
Re: Let the search for new doctors begin
Well that's good news on the pap results!
I hope you find a new doc sooner rather than later. Do you have any leads? I abhore doctors, so I always ask my friends for tons of detailed recommendations-- and then I usually check with my coworkers (especially other nurses) to get the low-down on docs they work with.
But I'm crazy like that.
Best of luck, though, on finding an RE with a better bedside manner and who realizes fully that s/he works for you and not the other way around!
