Question about AI2s

I have hemp inserts and water proof covers.  This is the AI2 system I am using:

Do I need snappis to hold the hemp insert together? I am a bit confused about that. Or will it just stay put in there? There are no snaps or pockets or anything to hold it in.

    I believe with those diapers you just tri fold the insert and lay it in the shell. Just make sure that the insert is inside the elastic so it's not sticking out.

    We use some AMP diapers, but mainly applecheeks (which are basically the exact same thing as AMP). You do not need to snap them in place at all. They just stay put there. Just make sure you push the insert down into the cover, so it's tightly snug in place.

    BTW... it's a great system! I love them :)
