Serious baby?

DD is very serious.  She  always seems to be "studying" the world around her.  She does smile, & opens her mouth like she is going to laugh, but nothing comes out.  She will coo once in a while.  I know you aren't suppose to compare babies, but it is hard.  Any other serious babies out there?

Mine is most of the time like yours.

Sorta like yours. DS studies everything, always looks like he's making a judgement call on what you are doing or whats going on around him (raised eyebrows lol). He does smile at his mobile and at us, but mostly only when prompted. He has yet to laugh. He does "talk" to us by cooing.

Oh yeah, one of mine sounds a lot like yours. I figure she must be a genius and is just learning like crazy in that little brain of hers!
