Fractured Elbow Update

Earlier this week I had written about DD rolling off the bed and fracturing her elbow. Today we saw the ortho doctor. She said that DD's elbow is not fractured after all. It's her shoulder, They took off the splint and sure enough DD started moving around her elbow like nothing was wrong. I just laughed as she looked at her hand as if it was the first time she had ever seen it. As for the fracture in the shoulder, we are still suppose to safety pin her arm to her chest so her movement is limited. But no other restrictions. Overall her mood is improving each day and has just been a little sleepy.

Good to hear the good news about your DD.  Glad to hear that she is doing better minus the little shoulder.  Just think she is giving herself a one armed hug.  :P

I'm glad she is doing better!  I'm dreading the first broken bone.  If my son is anything like his father there will be many of them.
